Where to Eat/Drink in Iceland

Since I was on the road for most of the time, I didn't get as much of a chance to try out different bars and restaurants in Iceland, but here is a list of spots I checked out in addition to other bloggers' recommendations!
Cafe/Breakfast:
Laundromat Cafe: Okay, so i'm not a yogurt person, but this stuff was crazy good! Eggs were a bit dry, but the vibe was awesome. Books and posters everywhere, and even though there were tourists, it still seemed pretty local.

Restaurants/Bars:
Grillmarkadurinn: This was a little hard to find as it's hidden behind a gate of sorts in a back alley, but what a gem! The food was incredible (I had the cod) and the staff extremely friendly. Say hi to Sindrid if you end up going here.

Fjorubordid: If you're thinking about checking out Vik or the Glaciers, definitely stop by this restaurant! It's a little bit off the beaten path but totally worth it. Delicious lobster soup and lobster tails and a beautiful view of the ocean (I made it just in time for sunset)!

Halldorskaffi: this is a great place to stop and eat in Vik! Hands down the best salmon i've ever had. And I heard great things about the lamb burger. It was extremely crowded when I arrived (30-40 minute wait), so if you're on a tight schedule, and you don't want to chance it, make a reservation!

Slippbarinn: this is a bar/restaurant located in the Icelandair Reykjavik Hotel Marina! I was there late Wednesday night in search of something to eat, and it was pretty empty, but there was live jazz! I did hear that it's a great spot to check out on the weekends, for locals and tourists.

The English Pub: I checked this bar out on a Sunday after dinner, and even though Iceland is generally pretty sleepy on Sunday nights, this place was still alive! There was live music and dancing, so if you're into the pub scene, definitely check this place out.

Other Restaurants:
Saegreifinn ("world's greatest lobster soup")
Baejarins Beztu Pylsur (famous hot dogs)
Roadhouse (when you're feeling nostalgic for American food)
