I traveled to Iceland the last week of February, and after watching the weather channel, I knew there was going to be a lot of snow, ice, and wind! I also knew that I would be inside a car a good amount of the time, so I decided to pack layers. Here is what I ended up using after 5 days and 4 nights in Iceland.

Note: this was mainly a road trip, so I was not going out at night in Reykjavik. You can get away with being casual in most bars/restaurants, but if you want to dress up, I would suggest packing a cute top or two, and maybe a warm and chic jacket.

1. Warm winter coat 2. Hard shell jacket 3. Insulated hoody jacket 4. Down vest 5. Wool sweater

6. Wool base layer 7. Black dinner top 8. White top for layering 9. Snow pants 10. Wool base layer

11. Black dinner pants 12. Dark jeans 13 Winter boots 14. Flat dinner boots 15. Driving shoes

16. Wool socks 17. Touch screen winter gloves 18. Warm scarf 19. Warm hat 20. Bathing suit

1. Passport 2. Backpack 3. Clutch 4. Car adapter (can rent with car) 5. Universal adapter

6. GPS (can rent with car) 7. Camera 8. Camera tripod 9. iPhone Tripod 10. Travel Toiletries
